OU joins Oklahoma State, Tulsa and NOC-Enid on CTBsports College Sports Lineup
ENID, OK—Northwest Oklahoma area Sooner fans will find their favorite team in a new spot on the radio dial beginning this fall. Chisholm Trail Broadcasting Sports has signed a three-year deal with Sooner Sports Properties, LLC to broadcast all football, all men’s basketball and selected women’s basketball and baseball games on 95.7 FM KXLS.
CTBsports and KXLS will be the radio home of the Sooners and will provide the Sooner Network with an FM stereo signal in the Enid area for the first time in several years.
“We are very excited to welcome the Sooner Network into the CTBsports family,” Chisholm Trail Broadcasting Sports Director Matt Howell stated. “Adding OU to Oklahoma’s most extensive live high school coverage, plus Oklahoma State, the University of Tulsa, NOC-Enid basketball, the Oklahoma City Thunder, ESPN Radio and much more, just makes CTBsports the only place to hear the best of what our state has to offer.”
CTBsports will also air other Sooner-related programming, including “Sooner Sports Today,” and weekly coaches call-in shows.
The Sooners will open their football season at home against Louisiana-Monroe at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 31.
In addition to the Sooners, area college football fans will find the OSU Cowboys broadcasts on 107.1 FM KNID and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane broadcasts on ESPN Radio 1390 KCRC. University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) football can be heard on 1640-AM KOAG. KCRC also features ESPN’s national game broadcasts and the Dial Global Network college football broadcasts.
