Chisholm Trail Broadcasting Sports is once again proud to present our “Road to the Gold Ball” high school basketball coverage. CTBsports prides itself on bringing you the most comprehensive high school hoops coverage in Northwest Oklahoma. Over the last two seasons, we have broadcast 164 playoff games.
Our coverage begins Thursday, February 11th, with the Class B District Tournament from Cherokee on 95.7 FM KXLS. We’ll have all three days, featuring Timberlake, Burlington, Cherokee and Freedom.
On 107.1 FM KNID, it’s the Class A District Tournament from Ringwood on Friday, February 12th. We have both days featuring Ringwood, Cashion, and Pond Creek-Hunter.

The New Year will bring plenty of high school hoops to Northwest Oklahoma, and Chisholm Trail Broadcasting Sports will be there every step of the way. In January alone, the CTBsports staff will broadcast 70 games from three tournaments, over a 17-day span.
Our coverage begins of the annual Wheat Capital Tournament from Chisholm High School January 7-9. We’ll broadcast all eight games each of the three days on 95.7 FM KXLS.
AM 1390 KCRC’s longstanding tradition with the Skeltur Conference Tournament will have a new look January 14-16. The tournament has moved to the Chisholm Trail Expo Center and will be played in three days. All of the action can be heard on KCRC, as well as 95.7 FM KXLS.
CTBsports will begin its third season of broadcasting wall-to-wall coverage of the Cherokee Strip Tournament January 21-23. All three days will air live on AM 1640 “The Score!” and 107.1 FM KNID.

The Pond Creek-Hunter Invitational Tournament runs from December 7-12. For the third straight year, CTB Sports will bring you every single game, as a tip-off to our seemingly non-stop area basketball coverage. CTB Sports is your home for the Wheat Capital, Skeltur and Cherokee Strip tournaments in January, but the Pond Creek-Hunter Tournament is your first chance to see what many of those teams are made of this year.
Making up this year’s field of seven teams are the Covington-Douglas Wildcats, DCLA Eagles, Kremlin-Hillsdale Broncs, Medford Cardinals, Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers, South Haven Cardinals and Waukomis Chiefs.
Monday through Friday, the 4pm games can be heard on 1640AM The Score! All other games will air on 107.1FM KNID. And of course, every game will be streaming live around the world on www.ctbsports.com. Matt Howell, Tom Nelson and Ryan Morton will provide the live play-by-play and commentary.

Hello area football fans,
We are just days away from the start of another exciting season of high school football in Northwest Oklahoma and Southern Kansas. With three stations dedicated to bringing you games each and every Friday night, we feel that Chisholm Trail Broadcasting Sports is your high school football home.
We will once again carry Enid High football on ESPN Radio AM 1390 KCRC. It should be an exciting year for Tommy Parker’s Plainsmen, as they try to make back-to-back playoff appearances.
On AM 1640 “The Score!” we will carry another full season of the Hennessey Eagles. Hennessey looks to be one of the favorites to capture an A-1 District crown and a Class-A State Title.
And on 107.1 FM KNID, it’s our Monsanto Area Game of the Week. A 14-game schedule once again awaits you the listener, and we’ll no doubt cover some of the best talent in the state.

CTBsports will provide live coverage of the Oklahoma Eight-Man Football Coaches Association All-Star Game at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 on 107.1 KNID and on the internet at www.CTBsports.com.
The game, featuring the best high school seniors from the class of 2009, will be played at Commerce High School in Commerce, Oklahoma.

Chisholm Trail Broadcasting Sports is proud to announce our full coverage of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II World Series. Ten of the country’s best baseball teams will in Enid, May 23-30, to determine a National Champion, and we’ll have all 19 games on the air. Our coverage begins Saturday, May 22 at 9:00 on AM 1390 KCRC. All games can also be heard online here at CTBsports.com.

CTBsports will broadcast two Class A quarterfinal football games on Friday night.
On 95.7 FM KXLS, the two-time defending state champion Okeene Whippets will go to Fairfax to take on Woodland. It’s a rematch of last year’s Class A state championship game, won by Okeene 31-0. It is also a rematch of a week one matchup that Okeene won 10-7 in overtime. Okeene has cruised through the playoffs so far, beating Watonga 43-8 and Velma-Alma 48-13. Woodland knocked off Salina 48-6 and Talihina 37-8. The Pioneer Cellular Countdown to Kickoff begins at 7 p.m. on Friday night, with kickoff at 7:30.
On 1640 The Score! KFXY, the Hennessey Eagles will host Hominy. Hennessey has beaten Cashion 41-14 at home and handled Snyder on the road by a score of 35-6. The Pioneer Cellular Countdown to Kickoff begins at 7 p.m. with kickoff at 7:30.
